Our Story
Our founder, originally from the States, now visits home every year and will typically head to the coast in California. Over there, everyone’s got a turf mat tucked in the boot. It’s one of those small but clever things you don’t think about until you need it.
Now proudly calling New Zealand home, she’s settled out in Titirangi with her husband, an avid surfer and their young kids. Between family beach days at Piha and post surf carpark changes, that little patch of turf started to feel more essential than ever.
So, she decided to make it herself.
Scuff is her way of bringing a bit of that American practicality to Kiwi life. Built for the beach, the bush, and all the messy, beautiful moments in between.

How do I clean my Scuff mat?
Shake out debris, hose it down, use mild detergent if needed, and allow it to air dry. Do not use bleach or harsh
chemicals.
